This is an awesome result in the road to qualifying for the commonwealth games.
During the Australia vs. New Zealand battle everybody was looking forward to the Karen Li vs. Miao Miao, unfortunately it never eventuated. With Karen winning the first match 3-1. Next up was Annie Yang who has been playing overseas for the past two year. Annie produced one outstanding result when she beat Australia’s number one player Miao Miao 3-0. This match was then followed up by an equally excellent result by Sun Yang also beating Peri Campbell Innes 3-0.
We wish out women’s team the best of luck in their final two pool matches against Estonia and Greece.
