There is allot of concern in the table tennis world where players are worried that come September 2008 they will not have access to speed glues.
You can now stop panicing because Tibhar has announced that they are currently working on alternative products to take place of the glues currently on the market. 
Expect some changes, especially in the way the new glue will be applied. The application process is expected to be longer and a little different to what we are currently use to. But the gluing effect which is most important factor, we expect the gluing effect will be similar the glues available in the market place today.
So watch this space.
Tibhar Germany is currently developing a water based glue. The first product to be launched will only to fix the rubber, there will be no gluing effect expected.
This new product will be available within the next 4-6 weeks.
More detailed information on this glue will be supplied soon. It is expected that the new glue will be a little bit difficult to use, it is anticipated the new glue will take a little longer to dry.
Tibhar are also currently working on a newly developed water based speed glue which is expected to be available in 2 to 3 months, this new product will have an effect on the rubber, it is expect to be nearly the same as the current speed glue effect.
We will keep you informed about this product as information comes to hand.
Tibhar and their selling agents are still offering the VOC glues until further notice, it is important to note that we sell this product to the end user on the understanding that they use it at their own risk.
