Coaching Course

Table Tennis New Zealand is pleased to offer a TTNZ/ITTF Level One Coaching Course at North Harbour Table Tennis Stadium over Labour Weekend from 7pm Friday 20 October to 1.30pm Monday 23 October 2006. 

The course will be conducted by Alan Pedley and Karen Li, and will provide participants with the opportunity to qualify as Level One coaches under the new TTNZ Coach Education Framework.  This qualification is also recognized by the ITTF as an international Level One Coach certificate, and earns NZQA Unit Standards toward various educational qualifications.

The ITTF Level 1 Coaching Manual was released at the World Championships in Qatar, March,2004.
By June, with stocks running low due to the success of the manual worldwide, the second print was made and is now available at the ITTF Offices, Lausanne and Ottawa. The Spanish translation is close to complete and the French translation will start soon.
