Night Winter Interclub Information & Details

As you know interclub usually takes place on Tuesday nights, however starting next term starting the 4th of May I will be organising league night. It will be an 8 week competition with a grading night prior to that term beginning 4th May playing through till the 29th of June.

The cost is $7 a night, however those who pay in a block for the entire 8 weeks $6 a night so a total bill of $48. All players are welcome however only members will be allowed to pay in a block payment and be ranked accordingly/have results published etc. It is recommended that if you are intending to play the entire term to pay in block obviously.

The format will be all singles, 2 grades A and B (grading determines which grade you will play in) each week will consist of a round robin. I will be working a lot more with publishing results and the WTTA ladder will be put to good use. A grade all matches will be best of 7, B grade best of 5.

PLEASE NOTE: the term after this prior to nationals will return to a teams competition in line with a team focus for the NZ open

This change will hopefully bring better quality play and strike a bit more competition than the old teams format.
