To All Sports Teacher and Players

The Waikato Table Tennis Association will be holding the Secondary School Table Tennis competition on Friday afternoons at the Waikato Table Tennis Stadium in Edgecumbe Street, Hamilton from 4.30pm to 7.00pm commencing on 23 May 2008  (further competition dates and details will be supplied once entries are finalised).  The first two weeks will consist of grading rounds with the first date of competition being Friday 6 June 2008.

Each team must consist of three players.  You may name four or more players in your team’s squad to cover injury or illness in your team, but players should not be rotated during the night of competition unless the opposing team agrees to substitutions.  It is important the players are aware of the commitment of being placed in a team, and being available each night. We ask that teachers try to have sufficient players available. Player’s names MUST be supplied with the entry form to enable grading of teams.

Entry fees (for team competition) per team in 2008 are as follows:
         
          Total Team Entry Fee                                       120.00 per team.
Once your entry has been lodged we will invoice the school for the team fees.

We thank all schools who have competed in the past for their support and welcome any other schools to join the competition. Our stadium capacity is limited to 24 teams, and we want all schools to have the opportunity to compete.  Consequently we may limit the number of entries from schools if necessary.
